Ready to get SMART
I stopped in to school today to get ahead on a few things and much to my surprise, there are a few boxes in my classroom. The SMART Board that will installed in my classroom in the coming days is lying in wait.
Of course I had to poke through the boxes and see all the goodies inside.
So instead of getting ahead on a few things, I have been spending the last 90 minutes downloading SMART Board software so that I can start playing at home. In addition to SMART Technologies software, I also downloaded Greenbush Edusim, which is is a free opensource 3D multi-user virtual world specifically for the classroom interactive whiteboard.
So in the next 2.5 months, the empty section of wall shown below will be turning into an interactive learning center. I am very excited! Now to find some more resources and install this software.
