Today has been much more successful for us. After suffering many issues yesterday including carb and brakes, we have overcome these problems and had two successful runs. Well mistakes do happen, and they happened to us on our first run. Not only did a bolt come off our steering while it was moving, but we also traced the source of our inconsistent engine performance: frayed wiring. We ran to Menards and got supplies to rewire the car, so that should not be [...]
Well we made it down here and passed technical inspection (after 3 tries) and now we are minutes from our first run. Weather could be better, but we can not ask for everything. I will post results from our runs as soon as I get them. Wish us luck!
